Amazon Prime Video’s TV and movie release schedule for April 6 to April 13, 2026, includes the final installment of a hit show featuring Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles.
The final season of The Boys is set to arrive on the platform. It follows Billy Butcher and his crew’s battle against Homelander, who is planning to wipe out all the Supes. Season 5 of the satirical superhero series will have a grand premiere with two episodes. The world is now dominated by Homelander, while Annie January has formed a resistance to him. Thus, it’s up to Butcher and his comrades to defeat Homelander.
Besides the engaging storyline, the final installment will have an exciting reunion of the cast of Supernatural. Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins will be seen joining Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in the upcoming season. The trailer showed Soldier Boy holding Collins by the throat while Padalecki looks on in shock.
In a recent interview, Ackles opened up about the reunion. He said, “I would say that (Eric) Kripke tends to, when he likes you, he really puts you through it.” “As (Laz Alonso) clearly knows. And he likes Jared. He likes Misha. And he brought them on so that he could do what he did to them,” he added (via CBR).
