Sánchez asserted that she would have the Amazon founder’s baby “tomorrow.” A spokesperson later clarified that the former journalist was not serious about her claims and the pair are not expecting a baby together. Both Sánchez and Bezos have multiple children from their past relationships.

Lauren Sánchez, who tied the knot with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in June 2025 after a high-profile engagement and romance, jokingly said that she was ready to have Bezos’ baby. The 56-year-old mother of three spoke about this during an interview with The New York Times.
“I would have another one tomorrow. Tomorrow,” Sánchez said to the New York Times, “I would have a baby tomorrow.”
Soon after, a spokesperson clarified that Sánchez and Bezos were neither planning nor expecting a baby.
Sánchez is already a mother of three children. She shares her eldest child, son Nikko, with former NFL player Tony Gonzales. She also shares son Evan and daughter Ella with her ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell. Bezos also has three sons and a daughter. He shares them with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott. Bezos has been extremely private about his children.
While speaking to the outlet, Sánchez also spoke about her relationship with Bezos. “I talk about everything with him. Everything!” she said, “Jeff is my best friend, and I don’t say that lightly.”
She also spoke about her friendship with A-list celebrities, many of whom even attended her wedding last year. “People act like he’s my new friend. No, I’ve known Leo since I was 25. Twenty-five,” she said about veteran Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, addressing how fans perceive her friendships.
Bezos and Sánchez were a part of the Vanity Fair Oscars Party last month, where they caught up with many other A-listers.
