Chillin’ in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers is a light novel series by Miya Kinojo and Katagiri illustrates the art. The series was first published in Shosetsuka ni Naro from 2016 to 2019. Overlap began publishing the light novels in 2016, while J-Novel Club handles the English publication. There are 17 volumes in Japanese and 13 volumes in English.

There is also a manga adaptation illustrated by Akine Itomachi. Overlap started publishing the manga in 2019 and Seven Seas Entertainment handles the English releases. The manga currently has 10 volumes in Japanese, while there are 7 volumes in English. Volume 8 will be released on May 14.
