Interactive Brokers launches unified interface for trading prediction markets across Kalshi, CME Group, and ForecastEx

Electronic trading major Interactive Brokers Group, Inc (NASDAQ:IBKR) today announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind unified interface for trading prediction markets across three leading US prediction market platforms — Kalshi, CME Group, and ForecastEx.

IBKR’s Prediction Markets offering enables investors to access and trade contracts across all three prediction market exchanges from a single platform, alongside a broad range of asset classes including stocks, options, forex, futures, crypto, and bonds. Clients of Interactive Brokers can now access the combined liquidity of all three prediction market venues and receive the best available net price.

IBKR’s Prediction Markets platform aggregates similar contracts from all connected prediction market exchanges into one searchable interface. An intelligent order UI helps clients view liquidity across markets and automatically selects the destination with the best net price — all without the need to open or fund separate accounts at each exchange.

IBKR’s Prediction Markets platform is fully integrated within the Interactive Brokers trading environment clients already use, enabling seamless management of prediction market positions alongside existing portfolios with consolidated reporting and real-time position tracking. Clients can view real-time liquidity and compare prices and fees across venues all on one trading screen and even within an order ticket, allowing clients to route orders to the most favorable venue the moment prediction market probabilities shift – all without moving capital between accounts.

IBKR’s Prediction Markets will initially focus on election outcomes, climate events, and economic indicators.

“Prediction markets are reshaping how investors think about risk and uncertainty,” said Milan Galik, Chief Executive Officer of Interactive Brokers. “We decided to offer flexible access to this rapidly growing market across multiple venues from a single platform, which aligns with the convenience our clients are used to when trading US stocks or options. IBKR’s Prediction Markets combines the execution advantages of competing platforms with the trusted infrastructure our clients already rely on. We will expand access to additional notable exchanges soon.”

“IBKR is the gold standard in the global financial broker industry,” said Tarek Mansour, co-founder and CEO of Kalshi. “Its integration with Kalshi is a testament to the growing importance of prediction markets for sophisticated investors and financial institutions. We’re just in the early innings of deep institutional adoption.”

“We are pleased that IBKR clients can connect to CME Group prediction markets to trade their views on benchmarks and economic indicators,” said Terry Duffy, CME Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “Retail demand for prediction market trading continues to grow, and expanding access is central to how CME Group continues to develop these markets for all participants.”

IBKR’s Prediction Markets offers a structured, transparent way to express views on a wide range of real-world events such as monetary policy decisions, economic data releases, and climate events. For investors looking to hedge event-driven risk, diversify their portfolios, or take a position on real-world outcomes, Prediction Markets represent a distinct and increasingly valuable tool that traditional asset classes cannot replicate. IBKR’s Prediction Markets gives clients the opportunity to participate in the future as it happens.

Key Features of IBKR’s Prediction Markets Solution:

  • Unified Access — Search and trade contracts across ForecastEx, Kalshi, and CME Group from one platform, with no requirement to open or fund separate accounts at each venue.
  • Best-Price Execution — An intelligent order UI identifies the most favorable available price across exchanges, inclusive of fees, while simultaneously allowing traders to see prices across all exchanges.
  • Multi-Asset Integration — Trade prediction markets alongside stocks, options, futures, crypto, bonds, and more within a single, unified environment.
  • Consolidated Portfolio Management — Simplified reporting and real-time position tracking across all prediction market holdings and broader portfolio assets.
  • Institutional-Grade Infrastructure — Built on more than four decades of proprietary trading technology that gives every client access to the infrastructure institutional traders demand.

IBKR’s Prediction Markets platform is live for eligible clients, with contracts from Kalshi and CME Group being added on a rolling basis.
