Inter Milan star sends message to Barcelona ‘monster’ after UCL clash

Inter Milan star Alessandro Bastoni has on Thursday sent a message of praise the way of Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.

This of course comes after the pair locked horns on the continent earlier this week.

Inter played host to Hansi Flick’s Barcelona on Tuesday night, in the 2nd leg of a highly-anticipated Champions League semi-final showdown.

When all was said and done, it was the former who marched on, booking their spot in the finale of the competition courtesy of a 7-6 aggregate triumph.

The aforementioned Lamine for his part featured from the off in both legs, from his customary berth on the right flank.

And despite Barcelona’s eventual elimination, the 17-year-old only continued to build on his reputation as the game’s standout young talent.

So much so that, as alluded to above, Lamine has on Thursday received a special message of appreciation, on the part of a recent opponent.

In a post on his official Instagram account, Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni wrote:

“A special mention for a terribly good kid: Lamine Yamal, you are a monster.”
