Indosuez WM hires executive officer of Hong Kong branch

Michaël Kofman has been named as the chief executive officer and Hong Kong branch manager of Indosuez Wealth Management (Indosuez), the global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, with effect from 1 September 2024.

After holding the position since early 2020, Olivier Livenais is succeeded by Kofman.

Reporting to Omar Shokur, chief executive officer Asia for Indosuez, Kofman will be in charge of the company’s wealth management operations in Hong Kong.

Kofman’s employment will require him to move from Geneva to Hong Kong, pending clearance from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He has nearly three decades of experience in the financial services industry, having joined the Crédit Agricole Group in 2002.

Having worked in the financial services industry for over three decades, Kofman joined the Crédit Agricole Group in 2002. He has worked with Indosuez for more than 13 years. Before taking on his present role in Hong Kong, Kofman oversaw the teams in Asia and Switzerland from his base in Geneva as Head of Structuring and Financing for Indosuez’s Wealth Management Business Line.

Additionally, he was a leader in Credit Solutions and Compliance.
