A crowd of several hundred people gathered at Town Square Park in downtown Anchorage on Saturday to denounce President Donald Trump and many of his administration’s policies. The event was one of many “No Kings” rallies and marches held nationwide.
Demonstrators listened to speeches and musicians in Town Square Park before marching south on F Street to the Delaney Park Strip. There, many joined a group photo by standing in formation to spell “No ICE,” a reference to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the recent crackdown tactics of its officers across the country.
This was the third time “No Kings” protests have been organized around the U.S.
