Hulu Releases This Week Include a Paul Rudd Sci-Fi Sequel & More

Hulu’s new TV and movie releases for this week (February 16 – 22, 2026) include a Paul Rudd sci-fi sequel, Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

Premiering February 16, 2026, in English and Spanish, in the 2021 film Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Callie Spengler and her kids, Phoebe and Trevor, inherit a run-down Oklahoma farmhouse from Egon Spengler, sparking a supernatural adventure.

Turns out Egon had been secretly fighting an ancient evil, Gozer, trapped in a nearby mine. Phoebe discovers her dead grandfather’s ghost-hunting gear, including the iconic Ecto-1, and teams up with her science teacher, Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd). Gozer’s minions possess Callie and Gary, opening the portal for Gozer’s return. The kids and original Ghostbusters join forces to stop Gozer, with Egon’s spirit making a heroic return.

Furthermore, horror enthusiasts can also catch the chilling 2022 psychological thriller, Smile, on the same date, promising a spine-tingling experience. Those looking to unwind can watch Urchin (2025), a delightful pick for light-hearted entertainment, releasing on Hulu on this week.

Reality show enthusiasts are in luck as it’s a Kardashian takeover on Hulu this week. Viewers can binge-watch all 20 Seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
