Houma BBQ joint gets visit from two United Kingdom TikTok stars

CRUSHED BY THE TRAILER. IT WAS HAULING. GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY WAKING UP. I WANT TO START OFF WITH THE DEW POINTS. I THINK THIS WILL BE A VERY BIG FACTOR FOR US FOR THIS WEEK. SO TODAY IT’S NOT TERRIBLE AT ALL. BUT LOOK WHAT HAPPENS AS YOU GET TO THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK, THE MIDDLE TO THE END OF THE WEEK. WE’LL SAY ALMOST LATE WEEK. WE ARE LOOKING AT THOSE NUMBERS TO GET REALLY HIGH. SO IT’S ABOUT TO BE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE FOR US HERE AS WE GET TO ABOUT THURSDAY, REALLY START TO FEEL IT WEDNESDAY. BUT LET ME SHOW YOU WHAT’S GOING ON. SO HERE’S THIS LOW UPPER LOW WE’VE BEEN SEEING FOR THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS. THIS HAS JUST BEEN PARKED OVER US, AND IT’S BEEN SWIRLING ALL THIS RAIN AROUND A LOT OF HEAVY RAIN THAT HAS MOVED NOW OFF TO THE EAST. BUT FOR US, THOUGH, WE’RE STILL SEEING A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS LEFT OVER FROM IT. HERE’S WHAT’S GOING ON, THOUGH. A LITTLE CLOSER TO HOME, SO WE’VE GOT SOME LOWER 60S FOR MOST OF EVERYBODY, SO WE’RE STARTING OFF. FEELS DECENT FOR YOU OUT THERE, BUT WE ARE LOOKING AT A FEW AREAS OF SOME SPOTTY SHOWERS, AND THIS WILL PRETTY MUCH BE THE CASE FOR US. SO IF YOU’RE WORKING DOWN IN BOOTHVILLE FOR TODAY OR WAKING UP DOWN THERE, YOU’RE LOOKING AT SOME SMALLER SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH GRAND ISLE. YOU DID HAVE A SMALL SHOWER, BUT THEN THAT DIDN’T HOLD TOGETHER VERY WELL. AND THEN ON THE NORTH SHORE, A LITTLE BIT OF A SHOWER TOO. WE’RE GETTING SUPER CLOSE. HENLEY FIELD, MILL CREEK, YOU’RE WAKING UP LOOKING AT A QUICK SHOWER MOVING THERE. SO A LOT OF THIS IS NOT EVEN A NUISANCE. IT’S A RIGHT NOW. BUT HERE’S WHAT IS TO COME. OR AT LEAST WE’LL TRY TO COME. YOU SEE THESE RIGHT THERE? JUST OFF THE SHORE RIGHT NOW. SO THOSE WILL TRY TO MOVE IN. SO THIS IS WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN. THIS IS GOING TO LOOK DIFFERENT HERE IN ABOUT AN HOUR. BECAUSE THIS UPDATES EVERY SINGLE HOUR BRINGING IN SOME FRESH DATA. BUT ON THE NORTH SHORE YOU COULD HAVE SOME SPOTTY SHOWERS. REALLY. ALL OF US COULD. WE’LL BE WATCHING FOR THAT. BUT REALLY, I DO THINK IT’S GOING TO BE LOWER PORTIONS OF JEFFERSON, LAFOURCHE LOOKING AT PLAQUEMINES THAT WILL LIKELY SEE WHERE MOST OF THAT ACTIVITY WILL BE AS WE’RE GETTING THE LAST LITTLE BITS OF THE SWIRLING ON AROUND BEFORE IT IS KICKED OUT OF HERE BY SOME HIGH PRESSURE THAT WILL START TO BUILD. SO I’LL PUT THAT IN SOME MOTION. BUT FOR TODAY, JUST SAY SOME VERY SPOTTY SHOWERS FOR YOU. THERE’S A CHANCE IF YOU WANT TO BRING THE RAIN GEAR WITH YOU. SURE. GO AHEAD. IF YOU’RE DOWN, DOWN THOUGH, NEAR THE COASTAL AREAS, THOUGH, YOU CAN EXPECT BETTER CHANCE OF RAIN. YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR TODAY WELL BELOW AVERAGE FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. WE’RE ONLY LOOKING AT THE MID TO UPPER 70S FOR YOU. SO YES, IT WILL FEEL GOOD ONCE AGAIN. SO HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING FOR YOU. HERE’S THAT LOW I WAS TALKING ABOUT. YOU SEE A LITTLE BIT OF THIS COOL POOL OF AIR FOR US RIGHT THERE THAT’S BRINGING US THE NICE WEATHER. BUT HERE’S WHAT’S GOING ON. HIGH PRESSURE WILL START TO BUILD BY THE TIME WE GET TO WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. WE CAN CALL THAT HOT HUMIDITY WILL START TO BUILD TOO, SO IT’S GOING TO FEEL WELL OVER 90 DEGREES. 90 IS WHAT WE COULD ACTUALLY HIT ON THURSDAY. SO YES, WE COULD BE TALKING ABOUT OUR FIRST 90 DEGREE TEMPERATURES OF THE YEAR, TEMPERATURE OUTLOOK THOUGH BEYOND THIS WEEK SHOWS WE’RE STILL GOING TO BE ON THE HOT SIDE AS WELL. SO THAT PART’S NOT GOING TO CHANGE VERY MUCH AT ALL. ALL RIGHT. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE REST OF THE WDSU FIRST WARNING SEVEN DAY FORECAST. BIG TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE FOR TOMORROW. SO ALMOST ABOUT A TEN DEGREE DIFFERENCE FOR MOST OF US. BUT LOOK TODAY’S RAIN CHANCES HAVE IT VERY LOW BECAUSE I DO THINK A LOT OF US ARE GOING TO STAY DRY. WE’LL SEE MORE CLEARING LATER, BUT ONCE WE GET TO THURSDAY AT 90 DEGREES ON THERE, JUST KNOW IT’S GOING TO FEEL A LITTLE WARMER THAN THAT. AND I DO UNFORTUNAT
