Hong Kong’s sporting and entertainment has soared to new heights with the grand opening of Kai Tak Sports Park this month.
Marking a major milestone in the city’s push to become a global events destination, the launch event was a vibrant celebration of sport, culture and entertainment, featuring an all-star lineup of athletes, performers and industry leaders.
Blending sport with music, the ceremony featured legendary martial artists, Olympic champions, and rising music stars, embodying the themes of struggle and ambition. Iconic athletes from both Hong Kong and Mainland China, along with elite representatives of the National and Hong Kong teams, showcased traditional Chinese sports such as badminton and table tennis, reflecting the deep cultural heritage and unity between generations.
