After the heat of summer, it is that time of year again when family and friends congregate in a spirit of reunion to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.Â
Â
The highlight of this year’s festivities is undoubtedly the return of the traditional Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance after three years of the event being cancelled due to the pandemic.
Â
Meanwhile, the LED Fire Dragon Festival returns to Lee Tung Avenue, where the spectacle of 800 lanterns can be seen lighting up the pedestrianised street.
Â
Lantern carnivals such as those at Victoria Park, Sha Tin Park and Tuen Mun Park are also taking place across the city, providing photo-friendly festive locations for mid-autumn fun-seekers.Â
