Here’s how to get the REDMAGIC 10S Pro a day early and with a discount to boot

REDMAGIC is leveling up its gaming flagship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version. That is the name given to the overclocked version of the already quite powerful chip. The new model will be on open sale from June 18, but you can get it a day early with Early Bird voucher.

In more detail, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro runs its CPU at 4.47GHz (up from 4.32GHz) and the Adreno 830 GPU is boosted to 1.2GHz (up from 1.1GHz). Even the NPU got dialed up and is 40% faster.

An additional performance uptick comes from the RedCore R3 Pro chipset (the original 10 Pro phone uses the R3 non-Pro). This chip handles super-resolution upscaling for 120fps gaming and deals with things like reducing input latency and controlling cooling.

There’s more – the REDMAGIC 10S Pro features LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 Pro storage. The previous version has LPDDR5X RAM instead – the “T” stands for “Turbo”, by the way, as 5T promises to be 13% faster than 5X.

Here’s the deal – open sales of the REDMAGIC 10S Pro will begin on June 18. However, you can jump to the front of the queue and get it a day early on June 17 with an Early Bird voucher.

You can grab an Early Bird voucher starting today, June 12, for just $1. This not only gives access to the June 17 sale, but it also gives you a $30 discount coupon – this drops the price of the phone down to $619. And REDMAGIC will throw in a limited edition sticker too. The voucher will be available until the 17th.

The REDMAGIC 10S Pro has some serious cooling for its flagship chipset – it has 30% more liquid metal (totaling 36mm²) than before, which has much higher thermal conductivity than typical thermal compound. The liquid metal directly covers the chip, which drops temperatures down by 5°C.

The 23,000 RPM active cooling fan makes the 10S Pro one of the few phones that can sustain its performance for more than a few minutes. The large 12,000mm² vapor chamber helps with that too. The fan has RGB lighting, of course.

The phone is equipped with a perfectly rectangular 6.85” 1.5K AMOLED full screen customized for REDMAGIC by BOE. It runs at up to 144Hz and has a touch sampling rate of 2,500Hz for one finger, 960Hz for multiple. The display can hit a peak brightness of 2,000 nits for outdoor visibility. There are additional controls – two shoulder triggers (520Hz sampling rate) and the MagicKey (which launches Game Space by default).

The phone is dated IP54 for dust and water resistance, despite the cooling fan. It has dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound and a 3.5mm headphone jack for the lowest latency connection possible.

Inside is a massive 7,050mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The battery has 25% higher energy density than the previous model. The USB-C port is wired for USB 3.2 Gen 2, by the way.

The phone has two 50MP cameras on the back – a 1/1.55” main (f/1.88, OIS, 23mm) and an ultra-wide (1/2.88”, 13mm, f/2.0). There is also a 2MP helper camera that can enhance overall photo quality. On the front is… nothing that you can see, but underneath the screen is a 16MP selfie camera.
