Group Finance Director

About the Client

Our client is a leading blue-chip company and they are looking for a seasoned finance leader to manage their group finance team.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing interim and annual reporting and group consolidation. You will lead annual budgeting and forecasting. You will ensure accounting policies and procedure are complied. You will be the finance business partner who shall provide analysis support for new business initiatives/ finance projects. You will provide finance support for financing, M&A, business partnership etc. You will upskill and reskill the current finance teams. You will also look at opportunities for process optimization. You will liaise and maintain a good relationship with external business partners, auditors, bankers, legal and tax advisors. You will participate in any ad-hoc assignments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
  • HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience
  • Finance business partnering experience in multiple industries/ conglomerate is preferred
  • Group finance/ regional finance experience is required
  • Problem-solver, agile, with strong business acumen
  • Able to manage upwards and downwards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
