Zdeno Chara
A three-time Olympian in ice hockey and 2011 Stanley Cup champion with the Boston Bruins. He is a two-time silver medallist at the World Championships for Slovakia and is the tallest player in NHL history, known as “Big Z”.
Bryan Arenales
Reality TV star and social media influencer, he is the 2025 Love Island (USA) winner and a Boston native.
Chelsea Clinton
Author and advocate, she is the daughter of former U.S. President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. She wrote She Persisted in Sports: American Olympians Who Changed the Game (2020).
Desiree Linden
The 2018 Boston Marathon champion is a two-time Olympian in the marathon. She finished seventh in the women’s marathon at Rio 2016.
Kristine Lilly
A former Team USA football star who helped the U.S. to Olympic gold in Atlanta 1996 and Athens 2004, as well as silver at Sydney 2000. Her 354 international caps are an all-time record, and she played in five FIFA Women’s World Cups, including championship runs in 1991 and 1999.
Suni Williams
A NASA astronaut, she is the first woman to fly on a flight test of an orbital spacecraft in 2024. In 2007, she became the first person to run a marathon in space, “competing” in the Boston Marathon, which she ran again – on Earth – in 2008. She has spent more than 600 days in space across six different expeditions.
Amby Burfoot
The 1968 Boston Marathon champion. He became a celebrated author and journalist who edited Runner’s World.
Chris Herren
A former NBA basketball star, including for the Boston Celtics.
Jeff DaRosa
A Boston-area native, he is a longtime member of the band Dropkick Murphys.
