The South Korean actor and model Lee Soo-Hyuk is all set to play a significant role in the upcoming second season of The Player, titled The Player 2: Master of Swindlers. Viewers can expect to witness the actor portraying a fierce antagonist in the new season of the action series, which will debut on June 3, 2024, on tvN.

Recently, Lee Soo-Hyuk also made an intriguing guest appearance in the hit rom-com K-drama Wedding Impossible’s final episode. Soon, she finds herself in an unexpected situation after meeting a messenger between humans and gods, Myul Mang (Seo In-Guk). Viewers can stream the K-drama on Netflix and Viki.

The Scholar Who Walks the Night

The Scholar Who Walks the Night is a riveting historical fantasy Korean series that first aired on July 8, 2015, on MBC. In the series, Lee Soo-Hyuk plays one of the pivotal characters, Gwi. He is a menacing and bloodthirsty vampire who wants to rule over humanity.

The Scholar Who Walks the Night depicts the story of a mystical world set in an alternate Joseon dynasty. It centers around a highly mysterious and charismatic scholar, Kim Sung-Yeol, who turns out to be a guardian vampire. Tomorrow

Tomorrow is another hit fantasy K-drama that debuted on April 1, 2022, on MBC TV. Lee Soo-Hyuk plays one of the main characters in the drama, Park Joong-Gil. His character is the leader of the management team for Grim Reaper, who works as a guide to the dead individuals in Jumadeung. 

Tomorrow revolves around the arresting story of a young man, Choi Joon-Woong, looking for a job. The story unfolds when he ends up meeting the grim reapers, Im Ryung Gu and Koo Ryeon. Besides Lee Soo-Hyuk, the series also stars Rowoon and Kim Hee-sun, among others. The Korean drama is currently streaming on Netflix.

Lucky Romance

Apart from fantasies, actor Lee Soo-Hyuk has also starred in rom-com K-dramas. Lucky Romance is one of them that premiered on May 25, 2016, on MBC TV. The actor portrays the role of a Korean man with Canadian citizenship, Choi Geon-Wook, aka Gary Choi. He is a renowned tennis player.

Lucky Romance depicts the love story between a superstitious woman with blind faith, Shim Bo-Nui, and an extremely logical and scientific man, Je Soo-Ho. Sweet Stranger and Me

Sweet Stranger and Me is another highly enthralling romantic comedy Korean drama series that premiered on October 24, 2016, on KBS2. In the series, Lee Soo-Hyuk portrayed one of the central characters, Kwon Deuk-Bong. The character is a highly ambitious and brilliant company director. However, he is quite frustrated due to some family issues.

Sweet Stranger and Me chronicles the story of Hong Na-Ri, a flight attendant who returns to her hometown after a tragic incident. The story unfolds when she meets Go Nan-Gil.
