Demolition has begun in Tomorrowland at Hong Kong Disneyland for the Tower of Terror-style Spider-Man drop tower coming soon.
Spider-Man Tower of Terror Construction

Large gray tarps have been erected in front of the Tomorrowland Stage, apparently to hide some construction work from view. The construction walls run from the Space Traders gift shop next to Space Mountain to Expo Shop, blocking the stage and NRG POD snack kiosk. The Tarps may indicate demolition work is underway on the stage and kiosk.

The gray construction walls have been decorated with large white and red Stark Expo decals advertising “New Pavilions Coming Soon.”

A crane continues to tower over Tomorrowland in the distance. In the above photo, you can also just barely see part of a construction vehicle behind the construction walls and tarp.
Hong Kong Disneyland announced the Marvel-themed Stark Expo area to replace part of Tomorrowland in 2016. The Iron Man Experience opened in 2017 followed by Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle! (replacing Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters) in 2019.
An E-ticket Avengers Quinjet attraction was then set to open in 2023 and Autopia closed in 2016 to make space. But years went by without news of the attraction. Hong Kong Disneyland announced the Stark Expo expansion was still planned and unveiled a new Spider-Man attraction to replace the Quinjet concept.

Concept art confirmed it would be a Tower of Terror-style drop tower. It will also feature more Marvel characters than just Spider-Man.
