Deals: OnePlus Nord 3 price drops to CE3 level, Realme GT 6 and vivo Y58 launch

The OnePlus Nord 3 will turn 1 year old in July, but the powerful Dimensity 9000 chipset makes it seem young. It can certainly stand its ground against other mid-rangers and the current offer drops its price almost as low as the OnePlus Nord CE3.

The Nord 3 is equipped with a 6.74” 120Hz display (1,240 x 2,772px, 10-bit colors). On the back is a 50MP main camera (1/1.56”) and an 8MP ultra wide, there is no tele module (only a 2MP macro cam). The 5,000mAh battery offers solid endurance and with the included 80W charger it needs only 32 minutes to get to 100%.

We mentioned the Nord CE3, this one has a less capable Snapdragon 782G (it’s a fine chip, but it’s old) and a lower resolution 6.7” 120Hz display (1,080 x 2,412px, 10-bit colors). The camera system and the battery are virtually identical, but the phone lacks even basic dust and water resistance (the Nord 3 is rated IP54), but it does have a microSD slot. Normally, the CE3 offers a lot of value for its price, but with the current discount on the Nord 3, it’s hard to recommend it over its more capable sibling.

There is also the new OnePlus Nord CE4 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. However, this one has the same FHD+ display as the CE3 and the main 50MP camera has a smaller 1/1.95” sensor. The 5,500mAh battery has a higher capacity, though, and slightly higher charge rating of 100W. OnePlus kept the microSD slot and added an IP54 rating.

The vivo Y58 is in the same price range. This is a 5G mid-ranger with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip and a 6.72” IPS LCD (120Hz, 1,080 x 2,408px). It has a basic camera with a 50MP module on the back and an 8MP selfie. It is powered by a huge 6,000mAh battery with fast 44W charging and it features both a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It one-ups the Nords with an IP64 rating.

The iQOO Neo9 Pro offers a flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and a premium 6.78” LTPO OLED display (up to 144Hz, 1,260 x 2,800px, 10-bit colors, 3,000 nits). The 5,160mAh battery with 120W charging is a standout too. The 50MP main camera is good (1/1.49”), but is only paired with an 8MP ultra wide and a 16MP selfie module to keep costs under control – this isn’t a flagship, after all.

The Realme GT 6T has been around for a month now and it pairs a premium 6.78” LTPO OLED (up to 120Hz, 1,264 x 2,780px, 10-bit colors, 6,000 nits) with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip and a 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

The company also launched the Realme GT 6, which uses the same display but upgrades to a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and better cameras. The 50MP main has a larger sensor (1/1.4” vs. 1/1.95”) and there is a 50MP 47mm lens, which is good at taking both portraits and 4x zoom shots. The 8MP ultra wide is unimpressive and the 32MP selfie camera could have been better. The 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging is the same, though. Check out our review for more details.
