“Happy Easter to our wonderful supporters, the players, the technical staff, the management, the employees, and collaborators of Napoli and Filmauro, and their families,” wrote the Italian businessman.
“A Holy Easter that falls in a tragic time due to ongoing wars and their consequences on the people directly affected, as well as the economic repercussions we will have to face.
“To our fans, I can assure you, however, that our management will remain prudent and responsible, allowing us to remain competitive at the highest level, as we have always done since I took over at Napoli.

“Unpredictable factors can influence matches and the course of a season, but what matters is the continuity we have always maintained. I can promise that we will keep it. For Napoli Sempre!”
De Laurentiis promised stability and consistency regardless of possible changes and unexpected events. Even if he didn’t mention Antonio Conte directly, it is clear that possible future changes might involve the Italian tactician as well.
According to Gazzetta, Conte is the leading candidate to replace Gennaro Gattuso as Italy’s national team coach.

Furthermore, the Partenopei boss is said to be tempted to return as the Azzurri’s head coach, with De Laurentiis not inclined to stand in the manager’s way, especially if Giovanni Malagò is elected as the new FIGC President.
Conte already coached the Italy national team from 2014 to 2016, leading them to the Euro 2016 quarter-finals before becoming Chelsea coach.
