ComingSoon is excited to debut Scream Factory’s Day of the Dead 4K Collector’s Edition release, which sees George A. Romero’s 1985 horror movie classic finally restored. The 4-disc set features a new documentary, a ton of bonus features, and a 4K restoration from the interpositive, presented in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. It will be available to own on June 16, 2026.
“After years of searching, finally tracking it down was a moment worth celebrating — and restoring it to its full, gory glory was an honor we didn’t take lightly,” said Radial Entertainment’s Jeff Roland of finding the lost film elements. “ This all-time classic has come back to life, exactly as it deserves to be seen.”
