Create A Healthy Life, The Role Of Technology In Realizing An Efficient Lifestyle

JAKARTA – In this fast-paced digital era, people’s lifestyle has changed. Ease, efficiency, and sustainability are the keys in living daily life. This is what gives birth to the concept of smart living, a modern life approach that uses technology to create a more comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environment. Smart living is not just a matter of high technology, but how we use it to live more efficiently and healthyly.

Smart living is a lifestyle that integrates smart technology into various aspects of life, ranging from households, transportation, to lifestyle and health management. This lifestyle is widely applied through smart home, smart health, and smart mobility.

Several concrete examples of smart living, including smart household devices, namely automatic lights, AI-based cooling systems, and cooking utensils connected to the application.

Then, energy management in the form of solar panels, automatic electricity consumption controllers, and smart meters. Finally, digital lifestyle through the use of applications for health, fitness, diet, and even meditation.

Smart living encourages a minimal lifestyle of waste, reuse of rainwater, and automatic waste management systems in several modern residences. The development of smart living lifestyle cannot be separated from the advancement of industrial technology.

This can be seen from the implementation of the 2025 International Industrial Week (IIW), which was opened on June 4-7 June 2025 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The event presented a variety of industrial innovations, including automation and digitization solutions from hundreds of global technology companies.

“We want to be the driving force in the process of moving the global industry to Indonesia, one of which is by adopting smart logistics technology,” explained Mahendra Rianto, Chairman of the Indonesian Logistics Association, from IIW’s official statement.

This exhibition is also a forum for introducing environmentally friendly technology and relevant solutions for people’s daily lives, including in the housing and lifestyle sectors.

“Industrial innovation does not stop at factories. They will be present at our homes, helping a better life.” said Dr. Atong Soekirman from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia when opening the event.

Smart living is a lifestyle of the present and the future that cannot be avoided. By using technology wisely, we can create a safer, healthier, efficient, and sustainable environment. The collaboration between lifestyle and industrial technology as displayed in IIW Indonesia 2025 shows that digital transformation is not only for factories, but also for our daily lives.

The event featured various industrial digitization solutions, business forums, and technological demonstrations relevant to smart living lifestyles.
