Roses, candies, kisses, and more are on the menu for February 14 — the lover’s holiday known as Valentine’s Day.
In the Upstate, the options for a romantic day or evening out could include a walk through Falls Park on the Reedy River, a stroll along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or even a boat trip on Lake Hartwell to satisfy the mood of Valentine’s Day. But what about afterward?
By now, you’re likely too late to get a table at some of the Upstate’s best restaurants or private events, such as Chef 21’s sushi rolling class, a seat for two at Hall’s Chophouse, or even Zen’s Valentine’s Bash. However, a few remaining spaces exist to enjoy an evening out on February 14.
If you’re too late, a gift basket with candles, lotions, or same-day delivery flowers might do. Just in case you’re still looking, here are five Valentine’s Day events and options happening in Greenville:

Two-day movie and dinner date at Entre Nous
One of Greenville’s best speakeasy spaces is hosting a two-day cinematic and culinary experience called Romance Dans L’Assiette, which translates to “romance on the plate.” For $75 per person, Entre Nous’ event will offer a three-course meal with drink pairings and a take-home gift alongside one-of-two movie options:

On Wednesday, February 12, their feature presentation will be “The Notebook” featuring James Garner and Gena Rowlands. On Thursday, February 13, Entre Nous will screen “When Harry Met Sally” featuring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. Both Valentine’s Day events begin at 6 p.m. on each day.

Valentine’s dinner, beer pairings at Iron Hill Restaurant & Brewery
How much romance can come from beer? Iron Hill Brewery has an answer: pairing a few newly brewed alcoholic beverages with five separate dishes, allowing couples and individuals to taste their love-inspired matchups.
From Thursday, February 13, to Sunday, February 16, guests are invited to try parings between salads, steak, seafood, and dessert that go along with ales, IPAs, lagers, and more for a reasonably priced ($9 to $32 per person) seasonal selection dinner and beverage Valentine’s dinner.

An evening of live music at Greenville’s premier jazz establishment will feature the serenading sounds of H. Wade Johnson and Jazzsmith at Blues Boulevard Jazz Greenville on Valentine’s Day evening.
For $150, couples will receive a three-course meal, a rose, and a bottle of wine, and for singles, admission, a glass of wine, and an evening of tunes are included for $45.

Sweets from Greenville’s favorite
Poe West and The Commons at Unity Park will serve some of Greenville’s best sweets, as LaRue Fine Chocolate has the perfect gift for those who enjoy their many variations of cocoa.
From milk chocolate to dark chocolate, their Poe West location features many homemade sweets but also offers handcrafted cocktails, snacks, wine by the glass, and more to create a one-of-a-kind experience.
