As we learned last week, the glamour at the 2026 SXSW Film Festival is showing no signs of slowing down, with Valentino dominating the red carpet in Austin, Texas.

Maude Apatow, who dazzled us at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, wore a Valentino Spring 2026 look which feels fun and fresh for the occasion, even if the sleeves aren’t quite working for me. The actress tends to lean heavily retro-inspired, but here it feels dialled back, allowing for something a little fresher.

To say Myha’la’s Valentino Spring 2026 striped mini dress was a huge improvement over her Vanity Fair Oscar Party look would be the understatement of the century. This is the kind of confident, character-driven styling that works in her favour. The feathered neckline brings drama and texture, giving the dress a strong focal point. However, those open-toe shoes feel disconnected from the attitude of the dress and slightly dilute the impact.

Britt Lower’s Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 look leans fully into transitional dressing, with a sunshine-yellow top that reads distinctly spring and rich burgundy velvet trousers that feel rooted in winter. It should not work, yet I’m sold. The relaxed silhouette keeps it easy, and Britt’s style personality carries the look through. I also love the white Valentino Garavani Rockstud pumps.
