It was a packed red carpet at Palais Brongniart in Paris last night, as the cast gathered for the Bridgerton season 4 world premiere.

Heritage First

Adjoa Andoh wore a custom halter gown by Nigerian label Torlowei, aligning the look with Lady Danbury’s storyline and her West African heritage. The colour is beautiful and deeply considered, but I do wish the gown had been floor length. Lark & Berry fine jewellery and Christian Louboutin sandals completed her look.

Tailoring, Not Tulle

Claudia Jessie chose a different route in a black floral embroidered Stella McCartney Resort 2026 suit. Oversized tailoring can be tricky, particularly with Stella McCartney, but the proportions work here without overwhelming her frame. You may remember Blake Lively wearing the white version of this suit at the It Ends With Us London photocall. The look was complete with Pandora jewels.

Statuesque Poise

Emma Naomi delivered vintage glamour in a Dior by John Galliano Spring 2008 gown. The silhouette gives her a statuesque presence, elegant and composed from every angle. David Morris jewels added a refined finishing touch. The red version of this gown has previously been worn by Lucy Hale and Aishwarya Rai.

A Better Version

Florence Hunt wore a custom, longer version of the Dior Spring 2026 petal-like dress, and the difference is striking. This length elevates the design far beyond the runway version, giving it a stronger sense of occasion. It the key to unlocking this collection the custom versions?  Repossi jewels completed the look.

All Black Everything

Hannah Dodd’s all-black take on Giambattista Valli Spring 2026 crop top and skirt feel far more successful here than on the runway, with a subtle pannier-like shape nodding to historial silhouettes. Manolo Blahnik BB pumps and Pandora jewels finished the look.

Purple Reigns

Isabella Wei may be my favourite of the night in a custom Nina Ricci dress. Yes, I am completely taken by the purple, lilac and lavender colour story here, but the real standout is the TASAKI jewellery, particularly those statement earrings, which elevate the look even further.

Black, Not Simple

Maticevski and simple black dresses do not coexist, and Katie Leung proved that in this strapless fringed dress, sculpted to perfection. The precision of the construction keeps the look sharp, with fringe adding texture without softening the impact. Chopard jewels completed her look.

But there is nothing wrong with simplicity, as Masali Baduza showcased in her strapless Dice Kayek dress with Chaumet diamond jewels.

Playful Miu Miu

I adore the playfulness of Michelle Mao’s Miu Miu pleated white shirt dress. This is the Miu Miu I love: light, youthful, and confident without trying too hard.

Regal with Restraint

Ruth Gemmell wore the Rebecca Vallance Henrietta gown, which felt appropriately regal for the occasion. Which has already had the royal seal of approval from Princess Beatrice. I’m glad that she choose red pumps instead of black.

Creator-Level Glamour

Shonda Rhimes was dazzling in an Elie Saab cape-embellished gown. A strong, glamorous choice that set the tone for the evening.
