詐騙集團訛稱助欠債者申「小型破產」料騙近千萬 「Cold Call」覓目標稱「舊債唔使還」 警拘七人 (17:42) – 20260128 – 港聞 – 即時新聞

新界南總區反詐騙組第三隊總督察林俊康指,去年警方共接獲4人報案,指接到電話推銷,聲稱可協助申請低息貸款。其後,事主被邀至葵芳一間「會計公司」,有兩名職員向他們推銷「個人小型破產計劃」,並聲稱參與計劃後無需償還現有債務,且不受破產令限制,例如仍可購買物業、車輛或申請貸款等等。   當事主表示有興趣便隨即被另一名職員帶到尖沙嘴一間財務公司,以高達47%的年利率借貸3.8萬元至17萬元不等。事主取得貸款現金後,該職員隨即以「轉介手續費」名義取走款項。其後,事主再被轉介至指定的律師樓辦理所謂的「個人小型破產計劃」。當事主向律師查詢時才發現實為申請正式破產,所謂的「個人小型破產計劃」並不存在。事主同時亦無法再聯絡騙徒。   林俊康指,警方調查後鎖定一個本地犯罪集團,據點包括一間並無註冊、位於葵芳的會計公司;一間位於尖沙嘴的註冊財務公司;以及一間位於尖沙嘴的電話詐騙中心。 警方搜查3個地點,拘捕5男2女,年齡介乎28至38歲,涉嫌串謀詐騙。其中位於葵芳的會計公司一名董事及一名職員涉嫌負責推銷虛假破產計劃;尖沙嘴財務公司一名董事及一名職員則涉嫌以接近法例許可上限的高利率放貸,另有一名姓徐女職員在警方搜查期間拒絕開門,最終警方破門而入,該職員曾藏起電腦硬碟,她另涉妨礙警務人員執行職務被捕。 警方行動期間亦發現一名懷疑受害人向一名目標男子交出一疊現金,警員上前拘捕目標男子並取回約7萬元款項。調查發現,該事主被同一犯罪集團以同樣手法推銷「個人小型破產計劃」。 至於在尖沙嘴的電話推銷中心被捕的一男一女亦涉嫌詐騙。警方發現,電話中心面積約1000平方呎,內有大量電話推銷講稿、約300個電話號碼的清單,列出人名、身分證號碼及借貸文件,相信集團從不法途徑取得個人資料及聯絡方法。集團更設有「業績龍虎榜」,以鼓勵成員加強行騙以爭取「業績」。 警方在行動中亦檢獲大量證物,包括17部電腦器材、超過20部手提電話、約177萬元現金、名貴手表和手袋等懷疑犯罪得益。被捕人士現正被扣留調查。新界南總區高級警司(刑事)姚永勤呼籲,任何人士如果懷疑自己曾被上述犯罪團伙詐騙,可致電3661 2776與新界南總區反詐騙組聯絡。 Source link
