Bruising appears on Trump’s hand at Davos meeting, photos show

New photos taken in Davos, Switzerland, of President Donald Trump show significant bruising on his hand.

The discoloration, a combination of dark blue and purple, is seen in images shot at a Board of Peace event during the 56th annual World Economic Forum.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed Trump’s bruise to the president hitting it on the corner of the table at the Board of Peace signing, CNN reported.

USA TODAY has reached out to the White House for comment.

In early January, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump addressed mysterious bruises on his hand and said he takes large doses of aspirin daily, which cause him to bruise easily.
