Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has announced that he will be visiting India once again, marking his third visit in three years. He shared this update through his LinkedIn account, highlighting the long-standing work of the Gates Foundation in India for over two decades.
As part of the foundation’s 25th anniversary celebrations, the board of trustees will be meeting in the Global South for the first time, with India chosen as the venue. Bill Gates emphasized that India is a fitting location for this event, and he once again praised the country for its achievements.
He acknowledged India’s significant role in healthcare, agriculture, and digital transformation, commending the nation’s progress through innovation. Gates also lauded India’s health initiatives, particularly its efforts in polio eradication and HIV prevention programs like Avahan.
