Best dressed on Oscars red carpet: See Felicity Jones, Shaboozey

March 15, 2026, 5:46 p.m. ET

Before duking it out for gold, Sunday’s Oscars attendees have likely already faced “One Battle After Another“: finding that perfect dress, tuxedo or ensemble in between, dodging the prickly pins of tailors in fittings, and sitting, sometimes hours for perfectly coiffed hair and flawless makeup.

And after a team put the celebrities together – perhaps not dissimilarly to “Frankenstein” – Hollywood’s biggest names began sauntering down the red carpet outside of Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre, hoping to reign (Marty) supreme on best-dressed lists everywhere.

Here are our favorite looks of the evening, so far, in no particular order.

Be sure to check back in, as we’ll be updating this story with more honorees throughout the night.

Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne is far from being a visual thorn in our side.

Rose Byrne, star of “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,” had a leg up on the others in a black strapless gown with three-dimensional metallic florals sprouting across the Dior design and its train.

Felicity Jones

“Train Dreams” actress Felicity Jones is right on track.

The word felicity means intense bliss, and Jones’ sunny frock could not make us happier. The Prada gown, with peek-a-book paneling, is timeless and chic with tulle and pearl embellishments.

Shaboozey

We’d toast Shaboozey’s look with a double shot of whiskey.

Shaboozey remixing the classic penguin suit is music to our ears. The “Good News” singer looked dashing in a cropped jacket, wide-leg pants by Campillo and eye-catching accessories.
