Apple AirTag 2 reportedly delayed to 2025

A couple of months ago, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted the Apple AirTag 2 would enter mass production in Q4 2024, but Kuo has updated his prediction, saying the mass production has been postponed to 2025 without getting more specific.

Details are scarce about the AirTag 2, but Kuo claims the second-gen AirTag will have better integration with the Apple Vision Pro as a part of a spatial computing ecosystem. Moreover, the object tracker is also expected to come with the U2 chip, among other upgrades, over the first-gen AirTag unveiled in 2021.
