Etihad are offering a pet promotion

The UAE’s national airline, which is currently the only carrier in the country to allow pets in the cabin, will offer the service at a reduced rate of USD 399 per flight segment for bookings made and completed by 31 May 2026. The move comes in response to growing demand from passengers who wish to travel with their pets as part of the family.

Under the scheme, small cats and dogs can travel in the aircraft cabin in an approved carrier. In Economy, carriers can be placed under the seat in front, while guests who prefer additional space can purchase an extra seat. In Business class, pets are accommodated with their own seat, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the journey.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said: “For many of our guests, pets are part of the family, and we understand how important it is to travel together. The service allows small cats and dogs to travel in the aircraft cabin alongside their owners, helping reduce stress for pets while allowing guests to keep their pets close throughout the journey.

“By making our Pets Onboard service more accessible, we hope to welcome even more guests travelling with their pets while continuing to offer the warmth, care and peace of mind that define the Etihad experience.”

Behind the scenes, Etihad provides dedicated support teams to assist customers with travel preparation, helping to coordinate requirements ahead of departure.

The promotion highlights the airline’s continued focus on guest experience, with pet-friendly travel becoming an increasingly important part of modern journeys.
