There’s no better way to celebrate mum than a high tea at Fairymead House, with a complimentary glass of bubbles upon arrival.

The region’s favourite Mother’s Day experience is back in 2024.

Mayor Helen Blackburn said Fairymead House was a picturesque setting to celebrate mothers.

“Mother’s Day is such a special celebration for families and what better location than Fairymead House,” Mayor Blackburn said.

“This event is fast becoming a much-loved tradition for many residents so if you’d like to celebrate your mum at this high tea event I recommend getting in quick!

“This iconic building shares the history of the region’s sugar industry and this event allows local families to make their own sweet memories.”

Fairymead House High Tea guests will enjoy the soothing sounds of Abigail Williams to accompany the exquisite high tea overlooking the beautiful Botanic Gardens.

Abigail Williams is a local singer songwriter, a member of the Spark Starter Program, now a fixture of the region’s music scene.

Be entertained with Mother’s Day picture bingo as part of your delicate high tea.

“It’s the perfect way to spend the afternoon with loved ones,” Mayor Blackburn said.
