Sarina Wiegman makes three changes to the England side who beat Iceland in their last qualifying match.

Captain Leah Williamson doesn’t make the squad having not played for two months. She was in training yesterday.

That means Chelsea midfielder Keira Walsh captains the side on her 100th cap.

Lotte Wubben-Moy and Alex Greenwood come in for Williamson and Taylor Hinds at the back. Lucia Kendall replaces Jess Park in midfield.

England XI: Hampton, Bronze, Wubben-Moy, Morgan, Greenwood, Walsh, Stanway, Kendall, James, Russo, Hemp.

Subs: Moorhouse, Roebuck, Le Tissier, Blindkilde Brown, Carter, Hinds, Kelly, Parkinson, Mead, Park, Charles, Barry.

England starting line-up

It is a very strong Spain team despite the absence of current three-time Ballon d’Or winner Aitana Bonmati due to injury.

Arsenal midfielder Mariona Caldentey is among nine players to return to the starting XI from their victory over Ukraine in March.

Two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas and Vicky Lopez are the two players to retain their places in the starting XI.

Several star names return including Mapi Leon, Ona Batlle, Cata Coll, Patri Guijarro and captain Irene Paredes.

Spain XI: Coll, Batlle, Leon, Paredes, Olga, Guijarro, Caldentey, Putellas, Lopez, Pina, Gonzalez.
