Barcelona star has decided to leave this summer

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has made the call to seek out a new adventure this summer.

That’s according to Sport, who highlight Marc Casadó as the player in question.

Youngster Casadó has endured a largely difficult campaign to date, struggling to establish himself as a fixture in the engine room setup of manager Hansi Flick.

All told, the 22-year-old has been afforded just nine league starts.

Not only that, but with Gavi and Marc Bernal now back fit, Casadó has seen his prominence reduced yet further.

And such woes, it is understood, have not gone at all overlooked on the part of the Spanish international himself.

As per a report from Diario Sport, in the knowledge that he does not boast the faith of boss Flick:

‘All this has influenced the Catalan midfielder’s decision to leave Barcelona at the end of this season. Only a radical change in his situation between now and the end of the season would change a decision that had already been meditated.’
