Maurice Benard says Sonny’s ‘coming back with a vengeance’ in General Hospital
After weeks of intensifying debate surrounding Sonny taking on Sidwell, thereby making a return to his old ways, Maurice Benard has given a big hint on X about the future of this Sonny and Sidwell debate.
User @Amanda3cb wrote, “I’ve been thinking that Sonny has secretly retired from the mob. He’s just chilling with Fiz & giving out grandpa advice to Gio, etc,” with a video of Sonny playing with Fizz.
Benard replied to the post from his official account. “Sonny’s coming back with a vengeance, and everybody thinks he isn’t better watch out,” he wrote, igniting intense excitement about Sonny returning to his Mob Boss basics. The reply also saw many replies from fans of General Hospital.
“Time for Sonny to take care of business, especially Sidwell, who’s been kicking dirt in Sonny’s face & wreaking havoc all over Port Charles. All that he’s done needs to be exposed & dealt with,” one user wrote, while another user added, “Don Corinthos gotta make them remember who he is!” Another user added, “Gotta watch those silent types.
