In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, an interviewer asked Robert Pattinson a relationship question about his and Zendaya’s characters in The Drama, who come across as overthinkers. The interviewer then asked whether he overthinks too much or stays more chill when it comes to relationships.
Pattinson responded sarcastically, “I don’t think at all,” flashing a big smile, before clarifying that he actually does overthink. “I’ll be an overthinker, and then one day, once you kind of gain proper trust, then no more thinking after that.”
In a follow-up question, the interviewer asked what one piece of advice he would take from the characters in his movie about relationships. He responded, “I think communicate a little less,” before adding, “Once you open the Pandora’s box, it’s just — it’s not necessary.”
The Batman star also recently sparked marriage rumors with Waterhouse on the red carpet of The Drama while speaking with Extra TV. The interviewer asked him and Zendaya if they had kept any secrets in real life, alluding to her character, who appears to be keeping many.
Zendaya played coy, saying, “I don’t know — that’s what secrets are, right?” She then clarified that she doesn’t have any secrets and that nothing comes to mind at the moment. Her comments come amid ongoing rumors about her and Tom Holland having married secretly.
The interviewer then turned to Pattinson for his take on the same question. He replied, “It’s the same one that you have,” pointing at Zendaya before they shared a laugh. The remark led many to speculate whether Pattinson is matching Zendaya’s level of secrecy when it comes to his own wedding as well.
