Jay and Silent Bob are getting back together in an unlikely way, with a brand new video game starring the two iconic characters set to release next month.
Interabang Entertainment and Digital Eclipse announced Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch, a brand new beat ’em up featuring hand-drawn animation based on the iconic Kevin Smith characters.
When does Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch release?
The game is set to come out on April 20, 2026, a clever reference to the characters themselves. The game is described as a “colorful side-scrolling tag-team beat-em-up,” where players will embark on a big adventure as the duo that takes them everywhere, including the gates of hell.
In a new trailer for the game, both Jay and Silent Bob can be seen battling it out in various locations, including a convenience store, arcade, and more. Enemies they face off include teens on their phones, animals, and much more promiscuous characters. The game also shows off both Jay and Silent turning into their iconic characters, Bluntman and Chronic. Check it out below:
“We set out to create a great game set in Kevin Smith’s Askewniverse, and the result authentically represents what makes his movies so memorable and hilarious,” said Interabang’s Co-Founder and Creative Director, Justin Woodward. “We’re excited to see what fans of Kevin Smith and arcade beat-em-ups think of it!”
Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch is available for preorder now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
