Drivers in southcentral Pennsylvania could face a slick commute to work on Tuesday, March 3 as more wintry precipitation is in the forecast.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for multiple counties, including Adams, Lebanon and York.
Mixed precipitation is expected to fall between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday in York and Lebanon counties, the advisory states. For Adams County, the timing is from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The area could receive up to one-tenth of an inch of ice and less than one inch of snow.
“In cities like Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, precipitation can start as a mix of sleet and freezing rain in the morning before transitioning to rain in the afternoon as warmer air moves in,” according to AccuWeather.com.
