Best Horror Movies on Peacock (March 2026)

If you’re a fan of all things that go bump in the night, Peacock has what you’re looking for in this corner of the horror world. Though the site offers more independent B- and C-level horror films, it still features classics, slashers, arthouse horror, and films that blur the line between thriller and horror. We narrowed down the best horror movies on Peacock streaming right now.

What are the best horror movies on Peacock?

As mentioned, the site caters more to horror films that veer into camp territory (though they’re not lacking in violence). Still, we added some horror films from well-known filmmakers to the list.

Speak No Evil (2024)

The 2024 remake of the 2022 Danish-Dutch film, Speak No Evil is written and directed by James Watkins. The story of this uneasy social horror flick follows American expats Louise Dalton (Mackenzie Davis) and Ben Dalton (Scoot McNairy), who live in London with their young daughter, Agnes (Alix West Lefler). While vacationing in Italy, they strike up an almost-too-good-to-be-true friendship with the charming British couple Paddy (James McAvoy) and Ciara (Aisling Franciosi), along with their quiet son Ant (Dan Hough). The families hit it off so well that Paddy and Ciara invite the Daltons to visit them at their countryside home back in England.

That seemingly perfect getaway starts to sour as small social discomforts begin to pile up. The Daltons try to be polite in the face of increasingly passive hostility, but for some reason, they just can’t bring themselves to leave. Paddy and Ciara continue to test the limits, and the longer the Daltons stay, the more that politeness becomes a trap. Aside from being a genuinely great horror film, it’s a fantastic commentary on our social niceties that prevent us from listening to our gut instincts. Also, if you saw the 2022 version and feel like you’ve had enough of this story, we’ll say it’s worth watching this one for an alternate ending.

Night of the Living Dead (1968)

Directed by George A. Romero, Night of the Living Dead has left a much bigger impact than just setting the standard for zombie movies. It’s certainly a great movie in its own right, but it’s also a landmark moment in cinematic history. That alone is why it’s a must-watch for any horror aficionado, filmmaker, or film-lover. Released during the height of the Vietnam War and the Civil Rights Movement, the film is undeniably a confrontation with American instability, whether Romero intended it so pointedly or not. The influence this movie had on the horror genre as a whole is immeasurable, from the rules of zombie lore to the ways horror films can serve as a vehicle for cultural commentary.

Released in 1968, the film follows a group of strangers barricaded inside a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse as the dead begin rising and feeding on the living. At the center is Ben (Duane Jones), the calm authority centered inside the chaos. Even as tensions inside the house become as dangerous as the threat outside, this man is going to figure things out. It’s also worth mentioning that Duane Jones’ role in Night of the Living Dead is the first time an African American actor played a leading role in a horror film, an element that played a large part in the film’s legacy.

Us (2019)

When Jordan Peele released his first horror feature, Get Out, we were — as the folks say — shook. It’s almost a travesty that Peacock doesn’t currently have Get Out in its catalogue, especially considering they do have Nope available to stream. Between Get Out, Us, and Nope, we’d have the full Peele horror triptych at the ready. But that said, consider Nope another of our favorites on the platform.

Us follows Adelaide Wilson (Lupita Nyong’o), who returns with her husband Gabe (Winston Duke) and their children to her childhood beach town of Santa Cruz for a summer vacation. Adelaide remains unsettled by a traumatic experience she had there years earlier, and her unease intensifies — rightfully so — when four masked strangers appear outside their vacation home late one night. Things get even stranger when the intruders break in and reveal themselves to be identical doubles of the Wilson family. As the family fights to survive, they discover that these doppelgängers share a bond with their counterparts that goes far beyond just looks.

The Invisible Man (2020)

When Leigh Whannell reimagined this classic monster story — originally based on H. G. Wells’s 1897 novel — he turned it into something far more unsettling. Really, imagine how terrifying it would be to be stalked not just by someone, but by someone you can’t see. Now add the detail that this person is someone you thought was dead. Frankly, that’s enough. Send us home already.

In this 2020 sci-fi horror thriller, Cecilia Kass (Elisabeth Moss) is trapped in an abusive relationship with her partner, optics engineer and tech entrepreneur Adrian Griffin (Oliver Jackson-Cohen). Cecilia barely manages to escape, only to learn shortly afterward that Adrian has allegedly died by suicide. As she tries to rebuild her life, strange and increasingly threatening events begin to occur, leading Cecilia to suspect that Adrian’s death was staged — and that he has found a way to make himself invisible. It’s a chilling premise made even more disturbing by the fact that invisibility, in the wrong hands, becomes the ultimate tool for control and psychological terror.

M3GAN (2022)

Directed by Gerard Johnstone and produced by James Wan, M3GAN follows roboticist Gemma (Allison Williams) as she becomes the guardian of her orphaned niece, Cady (Violet McGraw). To help Cady cope with her grief — and to fast-track a breakthrough at her tech company — Gemma introduces M3GAN (voiced by Jenna Davis, performed by Amie Donald). This eerily lifelike AI companion is designed to protect and bond with a child. Really, how did no one see what was coming? Did no one ever watch Dolly Dearest? Chucky? Smart House?

M3GAN appears to be the perfect solution, but as her programming prioritizes Cady’s safety above all else, her “protective instincts” — heavy quotations there — become increasingly extreme. A smart mix of satire and suspense that could make this a cult classic, M3GAN holds no punches in its commentary on the risks of outsourcing parenting to technology and the unintended consequences of artificial intelligence. If the violence of the theatrical release isn’t enough for you, Peacock also has the uncut version available to stream.
