The Danish Seamen’s Church in Hong Kong is preparing a series of community events in the coming weeks, offering both children and adults a chance to gather in a Danish setting.

On Saturday, 28 February at 11:00, the church will host Danish language classes for children, followed by a playgroup at 12:00. The classes are adapted to different language levels and aim to help children strengthen their Danish skills while staying connected to the Danish community abroad.

On Sunday, 1 March at 11:00, a church service will be followed by a talk by journalist Pia Elers titled “18 Missiles That Changed My World.” Beginning around 13:00, Elers will share her remarkable life journey — from years at Tvind and a decade in the merchant navy to becoming a correspondent in China. The afternoon will also include music and song.

All events are open to members of the Danish community in Hong Kong.
