Hulu’s new TV and movie releases for January 19 – 25, 2026, include the three-episode series premiere of FX’s The Beauty.
FX’s The Beauty is premiering on January 21, 2026, with the first three episodes dropping at 9 p.m. ET on FX and Hulu. Brainchild of Ryan Murphy and Matthew Hodgson, the series is a body-horror thriller that explores the dark side of the fashion world. It stars Evan Peters, Rebecca Hall, Ashton Kutcher, and Anthony Ramos, among others.
This week on Hulu, viewers will also be able to enjoy the films Retribution, Safe House, and Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in both English and Spanish.
Retribution is a 2023 action thriller film starring Liam Neeson, where he plays Matt Turner, a financier who’s driving his kids to school when he receives a bomb threat from an unknown caller. To prevent the bomb from exploding, Matt must follow the caller’s instructions, which lead him on a wild goose chase across Berlin, putting his family’s lives at risk.
Safe House (2025) is another gripping action-thriller that puts six federal agents in a deadly game of survival. After a terrorist attack on the Vice President’s motorcade in Los Angeles, the agents take refuge in a high-security safe house, only to discover that one of their own might be a traitor.
Meanwhile, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire is a 2024 supernatural comedy film where the Spengler family returns to the iconic New York City firehouse to team up with the original Ghostbusters. Their opponent is an ancient artifact threatening to freeze the world.
