Yenlex Partners has opened a Shenzhen branch, marking its entry into the Greater Bay Area and building on its regional expansion plans following the launch of its Hangzhou office in 2023.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Beijing, Yenlex focuses on private equity, investment funds, securities and capital markets, dispute resolution, intellectual property, cross-border investment and overseas compliance.
At the Shenzhen office’s opening ceremony, founding and managing partner Todd Zhao said: “Yenlex has established a three-city development framework across Beijing, Hangzhou and Shenzhen. Our Beijing headquarters serves as the strategic centre, while the Hangzhou office focuses on the new economy ecosystem. The Shenzhen office marks a new stage in the firm’s international development and will become a key Greater Bay Area hub connecting to global markets.”

Kevin Zhu, founding partner and head of the Shenzhen office, added that the firm’s internationalisation strategy would “use Shenzhen as a hub to connect Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, enabling seamless integration between regional and international services”.
