The cast of Jumanji 3, including Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, turned a workday on set into a birthday celebration for Karen Gillan. They recently posted behind-the-scenes footage from her birthday on November 28 on their Instagram.
Johnson shared a video in which they are singing the birthday song for the actress. Apart from that, other cast members also shared pictures from the day on their social media.

Dwayne Johnson shared a video on his Instagram as the Jumanji cast celebrated Karen Gillan’s birthday. He captioned the post, “Happiest of birthdays to the only @karengillan, so cool we could celebrate you on your special day from our set of Jumanji.” He also joked about one of the film’s running gags, adding, “I was hoping the cake would make Kevin explode as he does in our film – but no such luck. HBD KG!! We love ya.”
Gillan also posted on her Instagram about her birthday at work. She noted, “I’ve seen many birthdays with these guys over the years.” Her post featured candid shots of the cast.
As for Kevin Hart, who always provides comedic relief to a situation, he also took the cake explosion scene from Jumanji into account. He commented on the above post, “I was willing to die in this moment…. Ur B Day is that important to us ??? We love you.” To this, Johnson added his own affectionate shoutout as well. He said, “HBD fam!!!! We love U! #Roundhouse #KillerOfMen.”
Jumanji 3 is currently in production, and the pictures shared by the cast are from Los Angeles. They are currently filming in the city. Karen Gillan is back as Ruby Roundhouse, while Dwayne Johnson will reprise Smolder Bravestone. Kevin Hart will again be seen as Franklin Finbar.
