Honor has quietly launched a new tablet today, the Pad X7, which is not to be confused with the Tablet X7 that got official in May of 2021.

The new Honor Pad X7 comes with an 8.7-inch 1340×800 LCD screen with 90 Hz refresh rate and 625-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 680 SoC at the helm, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 128GB of expandable storage, and a 7,020 mAh battery with support for 10W wired charging and reverse wired charging.

There’s an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, and the device runs Android 15. It only seems to be available in gray. It measures 211.8 x 124.8 x 7.99 mm and weighs 365g.

Honor says the device underwent 42 “rigorous reliability tests, guaranteeing its robustness and dependability”. These include crushing impacts, unexpected drops, extreme environments, as well as a steel ball impact test, a touchscreen click durability test, and a distortion test.

The Honor Pad X7 is already available to buy in Saudi Arabia from Honor’s online store, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, for SAR 349, which at the current exchange rates translates into approximately $93 or €79. However, this seems to be a limited time offer that expires in just over a week, after which the price is set to go up to SAR 449 ($119, €101).
