Central Coast Lifestyle Neurology Medical Group, Inc
Question: Year the business was established?
Answer: Central Coast Lifestyle Neurology Medical Group was established in November, 2024.
Q: What inspired you to start your business, and how does it cater to the needs of the 55+ community?

A: As a physician, I was inspired to look beyond my traditional neurology training to find ways to help people live their best lives as they age.
As people are living longer, we are seeing an increase in neurodegenerative conditions ( like Parkinson’s Disease, cognitive impairment, dementia) and I wanted to be able to provide people with more insight and hope for prevention and slowing progression of these diseases.
Q: What unique products or services do you offer that help seniors live well and age wisely?
A: In my practice I have blended my neurologic expertise with my training in lifestyle medicine and culinary medicine. I incorporate these three specialties to offer consultations to seniors to help change and improve their lives by promoting healthier aging, and in particular brain health.
I also offer traditional neurologic care, treating Parkinson’s disease, cognitive impairment, dementia, migraines and other neurological issues. I’m uniquely trained to truly guide my patients to a better, healthier life as they age.
Q: How does your business support seniors in staying active, healthy, or engaged in their community?
A: Because so much of how we age is impacted by lifestyle choices, I help to guide people towards these smart and healthy decisions. With my patients I can help them to develop physical activity plans and enact ways to incorporate a brain healthy diet.
Staying socially engaged and connected to one’s community is important to brain health and this is another aspect to my holistic approach for each of my patients.
Q: What trends are you seeing in the senior market, and how is your company adapting to meet those needs?
A: In the mainstream media there has been an increase in discussions and research about lifestyle changes for healthy brain aging. But distinguishing between passing fads and the real evidence-based interventions can be hard. I specialize in exactly this: lifestyle changes and medical care that helps keep your brain healthy as you age.
Q: What advice do you have for seniors looking to improve their quality of life or achieve their goals?
A: Start small and set realistic goals. You may be struggling or have health issues, but by setting goals to improve your lifestyle you can feel better along the way. All too often people try to make huge changes by following the latest fad or trend.
This leads to an “all or nothing” mindset and does not result in long term success. Brain health is a long game and staying consistent with achievable goals will help you feel better for longer.
Q: How does your business prioritize accessibility, affordability, or personalization for older adults?
A: Each person I see has their own journey. I feel passionately that part of my role is to understand where someone is on their journey and then help to make a personalized plan with each person, to follow them along on this journey, encouraging and modifying the plan as needed.

Whether it is seeing someone via telehealth to check in on their progress, or spending that extra time to fine tune an actionable plan, I do what I can to make the process clear and effective. That is the key to our success in working together.

Healthcare & Wellness
Q: How does your business support seniors in maintaining their physical and mental health?
A: We are all unique and I treat each patient individually. I love supporting my patients in their medical and lifestyle journeys. As an important part of that, I take a holistic look at each person and this includes not only physical health, but mental health as well.
Without addressing mental health, physical health will often lag behind. Incorporating lifestyle medicine into traditional neurological care helps to address physical and mental health.
Q: What advice do you have for older adults looking to incorporate wellness practices into their daily lives?
A: Set realistic goals, be consistent, and don’t expect perfection. You may be looking to make large changes but these only come from making small consistent steps towards that goal. A small change is a step in the right direction. You can start to change sooner than you think by starting with that one small, consistent step. And I love helping people take that first step.
Q: Are there any new healthcare innovations or services you’re excited to share with the senior community?
A: So much of the new research in the realm of brain health and brain longevity, especially in Parkinson’s Disease and dementia, involves lifestyle changes. These can be simpler than you think and highly effective. These changes are available to everyone and I think that is very exciting!
Q: How do you make your healthcare or wellness services accessible to seniors with mobility or transportation challenges?
A: If someone is unable to come to the office due to transportation issue and/or mobility issues, I do offer telehealth appointments. What we can do via telehealth has greatly improved over the past few years, and it’s very exciting to me that I can expand my reach to so many more patients.
