Blake Lively returned to the spotlight with a Betty Booze launch event just days after a federal judge dismissed Justin Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against her. The case involved allegations of defamation, extortion, and contract interference.

Blake Lively appeared at Maxwell Social in New York City on June 11. She launched two new vodka iced teas under her Betty Booze canned cocktail brand.
The actress introduced Meyer Lemonade and Passion Fruit flavors, describing them as recipes from “my home, something that we make over and over again.” Lively, 37, told attendees, “We spent so much time on every single flavor, genuinely,” adding, “we’re so proud to be here.”
The brand, which Lively launched in 2023 as a sister label to Betty Buzz, already includes tequila and bourbon-based cocktails. “Vodka felt like the perfect next addition to our ‘bar’ lineup because of its subtle and popular flavor,” she said, calling it “an ideal backdrop to both of our yummy new teas.” She linked the new offerings to her Southern roots, saying, “Iced tea, especially in the summertime is a staple.” (via People)
Lively said the vodka iced teas are meant to be enjoyed in casual settings. “Any time you’d have iced tea or an Arnold Palmer with alcohol is the time you’d have this,” she said. “At a party, dinner at home, at a restaurant, wherever is natural to you.”
She added that her Another Simple Favor character Emily would prefer the Meyer Lemonade vodka tea. The choice connects to Emily’s Capri-themed wedding. “I think Emily would spike our [ready-to-drink teas] with much more vodka because ours are nice and subtle, and she is neither nice or subtle.”
Lively’s appearance came days after a federal judge dismissed Justin Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit against her. The original suit, filed by Lively in December, alleged sexual harassment and retaliation. Baldoni’s legal team may amend two of the dismissed claims by June 23. The court scheduled the trial for March 2026.
