The Ambanis always manage to capture everyone’s attention wherever they go and whenever they make a splash. Whether it’s their lavish and extravagant events and parties or their religious visits, people are always eager to know what’s up with one of the wealthiest families in India. Recently, Nita Ambani visited the Harvard India Conference and she was asked some interesting and intriguing rapid-fire questions by the audience. Among them, Nita also answered some questions related to Bollywood.
When asked to choose between Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh, Nita Ambani chose Ranbir. The philanthropist gave a reason for choosing the Animal star over the Gunday actor. She said, “Ranbir Kapoor, because my son would be very happy. He is his best friend.” But the next answer was also quite unexpected. When asked if she would invite Ranbir or Bill Gates for dinner, Ambani answered, “Ranbir”.
The video has gone viral on social media and has even reached Reddit. In the comments, people have reacted to Nita choosing Ranbir over Bill Gates as her dinner guest. One person wrote, “I remember when wealthy and influential people where asked this question with option like Dalai Lama and Einstein. Answer would tell what the influential person values and wants to put their weight and wealth for what kind of cause.”
Another person commented, “This is a bollywood-obsessed family. Very weird. Literally no other billionaire cares this much about movie stars. At least from what I’ve seen.” One more Reddit user commented, “She is obsessed with Bollywood and fame.” “Ranveer ne itna dance kia uska kya hua,” one more person wrote.

At the event, Nita Ambani was also asked about her son Anant’s battle with obesity. She said, “Anant is my youngest child, and he’s very, very religious and deeply rooted in spirituality. He has fought obesity throughout his life and yet has been so positive.”
