Mike Tyson’s Healthy Lifestyle At The Age Of 58

JAKARTA – Mike Tyson, a world boxing legend who is now 58 years old, still shows his toughness despite not competing professionally for a long time. After his fight against Jake Paul, Tyson shared the secret behind his extraordinary fitness and strength.

At the “The Record with Greta Van Sister” on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Tyson shared a routine of undergoing rigorous and disciplined training. Every day, Tyson wakes up at 4 am and does cardio exercises.

“At four in the morning, I started with an hour of cardio practice, then took a shower. After that, I went back to bed until one day, went to the gym. Then boxing practice for 8 rounds, hit a boxing sack,” said Tyson, quoted by VOI from the Business Insider page on Monday, November 18, 2024.

“Maybe, then strength training and conditioning, and after that back to work. This is a process that lasts all day long,” he continued.

Despite the fun sometimes, Tyson also admits this process can be very tiring. He continues to share footage of his training on Instagram. This shows himself training both for cardiovascular strength and fitness.

Some of the exercises that Tyson did included squat, bench press, shoulder press, bicep curl, and water bike exercises, which hit many times in the boxing ring.

One of the major changes in Tyson’s preparation is diet. Used to be known as a vegan, now Tyson reveals that he enjoys eating meat while practicing for the game.

“After the match, I won’t eat meat anymore. I like how I feel without meat, but when I practice, I need more protein intake,” he said.

Salah satu aspek penting dalam latihan mental Tyson adalah menjaga positif. Tyson percaya bahwa kekuatan terbesar berasal dari kepercayaan pada diri.

“Nothing is stronger than strength, belief, and affirmation. I say extraordinary things about myself, whatever you want to achieve, you can already see it even before it happens,” he said in a recent Instagram video.

“You talk about it, you think about it constantly. It was the beginning of the mindset to win.” he continued.
