Bernadette Linn to visit Beijing


Secretary for Development Bernadette Linn will depart for a visit to Beijing tomorrow. Permanent Secretary for Development (Works) Ricky Lau and Northern Metropolis Co-ordination Office Director Vic Yau will join the trip.

 

During her stay in the capital, Ms Linn will call on the State Council Hong Kong & Macao Affairs Office, and several ministries with policy portfolios relating to the bureau’s work, including the Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development, the National Development & Reform Commission, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Water Resources, and the National Cultural Heritage Administration as well as visit a science park.

 

Ms Linn will return to Hong Kong on Friday. During her absence, Under Secretary for Development David Lam will be Acting Secretary.
