Fury: This is like a table tennis champion facing Novak Djokovic
I think he’s a big fat sausage and I’ll knock him spark out. We don’t get paid for long, we get paid for short and I’m going to make it nice and short. It’s like a tennis table champion facing Djokovic in the Wimbledon final. Boxing is a gentleman’s sport. It’s not a brawl in the middle of the ring. It’s whoever’s got the most skill and the knockout punch. I’m gonna knock a motherf***er out and then I don’t want to hear anything from you guys.
Ngannou: This will end very quickly
It feels great, to make a big step you have to step back. I make my next step very high, the highest that’s been made. It’s going down tomorrow night. Everything went well in camp and we’re about to give a show to the people. If the [punch lands] he will go down. We’re going to take time to fill out the pace at the beginning, but it will end very quickly.
Fury and Ngannou square off for the last time
Both fighters and pushing up against each other and exchanging verbal jousts. They’re looking pretty jovial and look to be enjoying the atmosphere ahead of tomorrow’s fight.
