Victor Wembanyama’s sister Eve is set to watch her brother’s highly anticipated NBA debut in person on Wednesday.

The French phenom was selected first overall by the Spurs in June’s NBA Draft, and has looked extremely promising in the preseason for San Antonio.

And when he plays his first competitive NBA game, he’ll have a familiar face in the stands in his sister, as she revealed on her Instagram story Sunday.

Eve posted a mirror selfie with the caption ‘Direction [arrow] Texas,’ with the Spurs set to host the Mavericks midweek.

The rookie’s sister stole the show on draft night in Brooklyn as she and her other brother Oscar gushed about Wembanyama.

‘It’s amazing, we are all so proud,’ the 21-year-old said of her brother.

‘We are so happy for you, we are happy for the family, friends, everything for basketball – it is so amazing.’

Later on Instagram, where Eve had been documenting her time in New York this week, she shared a montage of pictures with the caption: ‘Can’t believe this ain’t a dream.’

Eve is basketball player in her own right – she has played for France at Under 16 level and most recently was playing for Monaco in her home country.

Unsurprisingly, her giant ‘little’ brother dwarfs her in terms of height, as she is 6-foot-1 and he is 7-foot-4.

Eve and millions others will be tuned into her brother’s NBA debut, with the 19-year-old power forward considered to be a truly generational prospect.

He’s certainly shown glimpses of that talent during the preseason, as he scored 19 points against the Warriors over the weekend.

Prior to that, he scored a preseason high of 23 points against the Heat in a 120-104 win for San Antonio.

In that game, Wembanyama showed off his freakish skill set, as the 7-foot-4 center scored off of the dribble but also put home some devastating dunks – with one coming from outside the restricted area.

Along with the Thunder’s Chet Holmgren, Wembanyama is considered a contender to win Rookie of the Year.
