13 pre-sale consents issued in Q3

The Lands Department issued 13 pre-sale consents for residential developments, involving a total of 8,993 units, in the third quarter of this year.

Three developments, comprising 4,146 units, in Tuen Mun, Kai Tak and Yuen Long, are expected to be completed next year. Four developments, consisting of 3,184 units, in Yau Tong, Kwun Tong, Tuen Mun and Tseung Kwan O, are expected to be ready in 2025. The remaining two developments, involving 1,663 units, in Kwun Tong and To Kwa Wan, are expected to be finished in 2026.

At the end of last month, 35 applications for pre-sale consent for residential developments, comprising a total of 14,845 units, and two for non-residential developments, were being processed.

In addition, the department is handling one application for consent to assign, involving 400 residential units.
